SHILLONG: Meghalaya lost against Punjab by 10 wickets in the U-23 Women’s T20 League Group A match in Kochi on Friday. Meghalaya won the toss and chose to bat, but could not make much headway against Punjab, being restricted to 27/8 in their allotted overs.  For the first time in the tournament Meghalaya went wicketless in the chase, with Punjab polishing off the required runs without loss. On Monday Meghalaya will play Manipur, a team closer to their level of play and this will be Meghalaya’s best chance of victory. Manipur have also lost all of their matches so far.
