NEW DELHI: The ruling MDA delegation led by Chief Minister Conrad Sangma will return to Shillong on Sunday without meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi due to his preoccupation.
Modi is currently on a visit to Varanasi so the meeting could not take place.
The ministers and other legislators have to reach the state to attend the Statehood Day on January 21 as several functions are scheduled to take place.
