Meghalaya: PDF constitutes new Ri Bhoi district committee

NONGPOH: Gearing up for the upcoming district council election, 2019 and also to strengthen the ethic of the party, the People Democratic Front (PDF) on Wednesday constituted its new body in Ri Bhoi district which is known as PDF Ri Bhoi District Committee.

The office bearer of the new committee was approved by the State party President Ivanlumlang Marbaniang in the presence of Auspicious Lyngdoh Mawphlang the state party secretary along with other higher ups of the party. The meeting was held in Nongpoh Durbar Hall.

The PDF Ri Bhoi district Committee was formed to strengthen the party in its preparation to the upcoming MDC election which is scheduled to be held on the 27th of February. The meeting was also attended by the party candidates who will contest from the five constituencies of the district.

The office bearers of the district party unit include Advisers Lambok Mylliemngap and Albinus Lyngdoh, Dipshon Ryntathian as President, P.B Syngkli as Working President, Gilbert Lamare as General Secretary while the Umsning legislator  Jason Sawkmie Mawlong as the Treasurer.

Youth Front office bearers include Biren Syngkli and Bah Pul Klein as the Advisers, President Sanjoy Paul Kurbah, Secretary Nicholas Malai.

Office bearers of the Woment Front include Aidalin Syiemlieh and Magdalene Sawkmie Mawlong as advisers, Bulbul Mawlong as President , Kyntiew Nongsiej as Secretary among other office bearers.
