Charred body of woman found at Iewduh

SHILLONG: A woman was found dead after her body was put out of flames in Shillong.
Police said that on Thursday evening, around 6 pm, one unidentified female (22/27 years) was seen burning in flames at Tomato Market, Iewduh.
After dousing the fire, it was noticed that the person was lifeless and the torso and upper limbs were charred.
Police said there little details available with them about the incident as they have not received any FIR at the time of filing this report.
Another body of woman
The body of Tresi M Marak with burn injuries was found at her residence in Dolagia village under Mahendraganj Police Station in South West Garo Hills on Thursday. The body was sent to Civil Hospital in Ampati for post mortem examination.
