Cong members join NPP

SHILLONG: Few Congress members joined NPP at a meeting held at Mawhati, Ri Bhoi recently. The new members from Mawrong road were welcomed by Santi Jyrwa, MLA Dasakhiat Lamare and Raton Mukhim MDC candidate from the constituency. During the meeting, which was attended by 40 supporters, members were also elected.
B Khymdeit was elected as the president of Mawrong area, Iba Kordor Lapang as the secretary from Thad Unit, W Kharjahrin as the unit president from Mawlingai and Hesperson Lapang as the unit president from Thad area.
