TURA: To press for the demand for creation of Civil Sub-Division at Dalu, the Dalu Civil Sub-Division Joint Movement Committee has announced public rally in the area on February 19.
According to the President of the Dalu Civil Sub-Division Joint Movement Committee, the public rally will begin at 11 am from Dalu Government Higher Secondary School Playground to the Dalu C&RD Block Office premises.
“Dalu is one of the oldest blocks in Meghalaya but no politician has ever thought about upgrading it. We along with citizens from the region strongly demand the creation of the Dalu Civil Sub-Division,” the president of the committee said.
