Human skull recovered
On February 7 morning, residents of Ildek Akong village (North Garo Hills) recovered one unidentified human skull at the village. Necessary formalities were observed and the matter is under enquiry.

Theft
On February 6 afternoon, miscreants broke into the house of one Barish Kumar Riang at Demthring, Shillong and stole one laptop and one cell-phone.
Sidhart Baruah lodged a complaint that on February 1, one unidentified person stole one inverter valued around Rs. 4,000 from his shop at GS Road, Shillong.

Minor Missing
On February 4, a complaint was lodged that one fifteen year old boy viz., Kaushik Baruah went missing from his residence at 4th Furlong, Shillong.

Assault
31 January 2019 – Senwil Marak lodged a complaint that on Jan. 31 at about 3 pm, one Newilson Shira assaulted his daughter viz., Junmerita Sangma at Thapa Agitchak village (North Garo Hills). As a result, the victim sustained injuries and was shifted to CHC Resubelpara.

Arson
On the intervening night of January 28 and 29, miscreants set on fire the godown of S.K Tharad at GS Road, Shillong.
