Two killed, five injured in separate accidents

Shillong: The state witnessed a series of accidents in the recent days where two were killed and five injured in separate accidents.
On January 11, a Tata-407 dumper truck (ML-12-2398) driven by Ebormi Sutnga (23) ran over an unidentified pedestrian at Iawmusiang, Jowai (WJH). The victim was shifted to Dr. Norman Tunnel Hospital, Jowai, where the attending MO declared him brought dead.
In another incident, Laluatmawii of Laitumkhrah, Shillong lodged a complaint that on February 11 while she was proceeding from Aizawl to Shillong in a bus (AS-01FC-1385), it met with an accident at Sawlad, Madanrting and she was taken to NEIGRIHMS.
On February 10 around 6.10 am, an oil tanker truck (NL-01AA-7412) collided with a Maruti Alto car (ML-04B-6623) at Mynkseh Bridge (EJH). As a result, four occupants of the Maruti Alto car sustained injuries.
Prona Basaiawmoit of Nongpoh Proper (RB) lodged a complaint that on February 7, her son viz., (L) Mek Basaiawmoit met with an accident with a tanker truck (AS-01DD-3174) at Jaiaw Langsning, Shillong.
