Woman’s body found in Byrnihat

Nongpoh: The body of an unknown woman was found lying at 14th Mile in Byrnihat on February 2, Ri Bhoi district superintendent of police has informed.
The woman aged approximately 40 years bears a swarthy complexion, black curly hair, oval face and about 5ft tall. She was wearing two sweaters (cream and red) and a white bangle on her right arm. Her antecedents could not be traced and the cadaver is currently lying at the Civil Hospital morgue in Nongpoh. Police said persons with any knowledge about the deceased may contact the Civil Hospital authority or the superintendent of police.
