NPP condemns terror attack on CrPF jawans

TURA: The National People’s Party (NPP) in Garo Hills has strongly condemned the killing of forty CRPF jawans in Pulwama, Kashmir on February 14 by Pakistani sponsored terrorists.

 A meeting of the party was held in Tura which was chaired by NPP Meghalaya State Unit Working President, S B Sangma and attended by GHADC CEM Dipul R Marak, EM in-charge of Finance, Sengnal N Sangma and other functionaries from the state and the five districts of Garo Hills.

 During the meeting members expressed condolences to the soldiers who were martyred in the terror attack and their grieving families.

 “The NPP coveys its deepest condolences to the families of the victims. The Nation will always cherish the sacrifice they made for the Motherland,” it said.

 The meeting also observed two minutes silent prayer for families and relatives of the martyred soldiers.
