SHILLONG: Nongkrem MDC and KHADC CEM HS Shylla said he has foreseen Ardent Basaiawmoit’s relationship with Congress leader Mukul Sangma since the council bypoll in 2016.
Criticizing Basaiawmoit’s move to join Congress, he alleged Basaiawmoit’s agitation against MUDA is a strategy of Mukul Sangma.
“MUDA means Mukul Under Dealing Ardent (MUDA). This clearly shows Ardent has links with Congress,” Shylla said.
Basaiawmoit is the former president of Hill State People’s Democratic Party (HSPDP).
On the other hand, Shylla who is not contesting the Council Elections has said it is up to the wisdom of the people whom to vote for the Nongkrem MDC seat.
