New Delhi: Commercial flights resumed at all Indian airports after being suspended on Wednesday, an official with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said.
According to the official, the “Notice to Airmen” (Notam) issued by the Air Traffic Control (ATC) has been withdrawn.
Earlier in the day, several airports across north India were closed for commercial operations as the facilities were being used by the Indian Air Force (IAF).
Several flights had either been diverted or put on hold.
With the opening of the airspace, commercial flights have resumed to Jammu, Leh, Srinagar, Amritsar, Pathankot, Dharamsala, Kullu, Manali and Shimla airports. (IANS)
