SHILLONG: Congress has elected Mawphlang-Diengiei MDC Lamphrang Blah as the parliamentary party leader in KHADC.
Congress legislator and spokesperson H M Shangpliang said on Sunday the MDCs elected Blah as the parliamentary party leader.
Blah is the senior most among the ten Congress MDCs elected to the KHADC.
Soon after the polls, the Congress had offered the post of CEM to UDP to lead the Council.
However, the UDP wanted to be with the MDA partners.
