SHILLONG: NEHU Kickboxing team is all set to participate in the All India Inter University Kickboxing Championship 2019 for Men & Women to be held from March 8-11, under the auspices of Andhra Pradesh University Visakhapatnam.
The team will leave for Visakhapatnam on Monday at 9 am from Shillong. This Team is the first in the history of Kickboxing in Meghalaya to represent North-Eastern Hill University at the All India Inter University Games on Kickboxing for both Men & Women.
The team:- Belldona Pakyntein (Low Kick -48kg); Sparkle Rynghang (Low Kick- 57kg); Bashaibha Khriam (Full Contact -63.5kg); Stepphyrnai Kharpein (Point Fighting -52kg); Hameshaniah Suiam (Point Fighting -57 kg); Morning Star Dkhar (Point Fighting-63kg); Nangsan Marbaniang (Kick Light -52kg); Ioonis Mynsong (Kick Light -63kg).
Fourwell Fourwell Lyngshiang Khongmalai will be the team manager, while Monica Nongrum will be the team coach and Lambhadaka Patlong will be the team observer.
