Mawkyrwat: The Deputy Commissioner of South West Khasi Hills District, Isawanda Laloo on Wednesday issued an ‘advisory note’ to the people of the district after getting information that some people are sending letters to village headmen and secretaries claiming to provide jobs for rural educated boys and by demanding a pre-registration security amount of Rs.1200/- in favour of ‘Kanak Enterprise’.
“Some village headmen/secretaries within the District have received a calling letter regarding recruitment of Village Service Representatives under ‘Gram Vikas Rozgar Yojna’ claiming to provide employment for rural educated boys and by demanding a pre-registration security amount of Rs.1200/- in favour of Kanak Enterprise. On evaluation of representation documents received at the village, the same cannot be proven to be authentic and has a dubious objective,” Laloo said.
“It is therefore requested that all village headmen, secretaries, representatives to be vigilant and to not publicise or recommend any youth to proceed for registration or processing of Demand Draft until clear instruction is issued by a competent authority in a proper channel,” she added.
