One killed, 9 injured in separate accidents
Dr. Olisha Sumer, i/c Mawhati PHC (Ri Bhoi) lodged a complaint that on March 5 around 12:30 am, a person namely, Sabinus Amson, who was knocked down by a vehicle (ML-08E-8507) at Lamalong, was admitted at the PHC, where he succumbed to his injuries the next day. Necessary formalities were observed.
On March 8 around 12.30 pm, a Bolero (ML-08D-6772) driven by Kada Miah, rammed against a tea-shop at Dharamchas Junction (South West Garo Hills) injuring a bicycle rider. The injured was later shifted to Nogorpara PHC.
On March 8 around 4.30 am, a three-wheeler vehicle (ML-14-2245) driven by Himangshu Koch (21) dashed against a culvert at Katholbari village (SWGH). As a result, the driver and two occupants sustained injuries and were shifted to Tura Civil Hospital.
On March 7 around 1 pm, a Bolero (ML-09-2555) driven by Michael Marak met with an accident at Dobu Rongmugittim (East Garo Hills). As a result, the driver and four occupants sustained injuries and were shifted to CH, Williamnagar.
