SHILONG: Phulbari legislator SG Estamur Mominin has asked the state government to construct two RCC bridges at Rondupara and Pushkurnipara Bholarbhita in his constituency.
Participating in the general discussion on the budget, Mominin lamented that there is only one CHC in Phulbari. Though the building construction of Chibinang Chandigre PHC was completed it could not be made operational due to the delay in recruitment of staff.
The MLA also urged the government to establish sub-centres in places like Bikonggre, Bholarbita, Charbatapara, Haribhanga, Koylaghat and other places.
The Phulbari MLA added that there is no water supply scheme in his area and that the government should sanction water supply schemes for Bholarbhita, Gambil Ading and Koylaghat. Stating that many school buildings were also damaged in the cyclone, he added that the buildings need immediate grant. He also maintained that the ad hoc grant for aided schools should also be increased.
Stating that many villages in his constituency is yet to be electrified, he asked the government to survey the villages and bring them under Saubhagya scheme.
