Shillong League: Riatsamthiah, TNT Sputnik record wins

SHILLONG: Riatsamthiah CC and TNT Sputnik CC emerged winners in the Shillong T20 Super Division League matches held on Friday.
In the first match played between Sumer CC and Riatsamthiah, the latter won by 38 runs.
Sumer won the toss and elected to bowl first.
Riatsamthiah CC scored 148/3 in 20 overs, where batsmen Anish Charak scored 113 runs off 60 balls and Shaisngi Lyngdoh made 8 runs of 11 balls.
Sumer bowlers Hiraj Rabha and Binay Kumar took 2 wickets each.
In reply Sumer CC were bowled out for 109 in 18.0 overs.
Batsmen, Ganesh Sahani scored 32 runs off 29 balls and Hiraj Rabha scored 21 runs off 25 balls.
Riatsamthiah bowler Banpynshngain Dolloi empowered his team claiming 4 wickets in 4 overs while teammate Sylvester Mylliempdah took 2 wickets.
In the second match TNT Sputnik CC won by 136 runs against Malki CC.
Toss was won by TNT Sputnik and they decided to bat first scoring 155/4 in 20.0 overs.
Batsmen Tarique Siddique scored 57 runs off 50 balls and Amiangshu Sen made 47 runs of 34 balls
Malki bowler Rohit Rai took 2 wickets and Ajopson Marwied took 1 wicket.
In reply, Malki CC were dismissed for 19 runs in 9.0 overs with Rohit Rau top scoring with 6 runs off 15 balls.
TNT Sputnik bowlers Swarajeet Das took 4 wickets while Abhay Negi and Nafees Siddique took 3 wickets each.
