Nangkiew, Wahlyngkhat register wins in CMYDS football

SHILLONG: The U12 CMYDS football tournament 2019 for Mawrynkneng  Block was conducted from March 18 onwards  at Urksew wahpathaw Stadium, Pynursla . In the finals of the boys Nangkiew SC trashed Kyntonsa-ir FC by 6-0 margin. In the Girls Category, Wahlyngkhat SC defeated Iaikyrshan FC in the finals 3-0. The winners will now represent the block in the District level competition to be declared later. The trophies and certificates were distributed Shri Don Khonglam, Secretary, Riwar Mihngi Sports Association, B. L Nongbet, Football Coach, East khasi Hills, Rohit Nongspung, Grassroots coach.The U12 block level CMYDS under the flag of the District Sports Officer, east Khasi Hills started the tournament on Thursday for Shella Bholaganj Block at Mawmluh playground. The tournament was opened by Sympain Dkhar, Secy and Executive Member, Sohra Sports Association and Mawmluh, T. Dohling Grassroots  Coach, District Sports Office, East Khasi Hills District.
