Cops told to seize coal trucks

SHILLONG: Shillong Police have issued instructions to its personnel to arrest the drivers and seize those trucks which carry coal in violation of the NGT order.
A police official said that strict instructions have been issued to immediately arrest drivers of trucks which transport illegal coal in the city and the district.
It may be mentioned that there have been a few instances when trucks carrying illegal coal were seized in the city in the past few months.
Last week, a truck (in picture) carrying illegal coal was seized in Malki.
