Family harassed; KSU demands arrests

SHILLONG: A family was harassed by a group of men in Mylliem on Sunday.
Following the incident, an FIR was filed by Pynbeitlang Sohkhlet on the same day.
Addressing a press conference on Monday, Sohkhlet said there were three two-wheelers with six men at Mylliem. The men allegedly misbehaved and verbally abused him and his family. Sohkhlet informed that he pursued them till 7th mile while only two were caught.
In this connection, Sohkhlet sought the help of the Khasi Students’ Union (KSU), Upper Shillong circle.
Pynskhemlang Syiem, publicity secretary of the circle has demanded the arrest of the other four males involved in the verbal abuse.
