Woman dies after being hit by boulder

NONGPOH: An elderly woman succumbed to her injuries after she was hit by a boulder near a stone quarry in Umduba village, Ri-Bhoi on Wednesday.
The police informed that the boulder accidentally fell on her as she was passing through the site.
The victim was identified as Henolis K Sangma of Umduba village.
She was taken to Guwahati Hospital where the attending MO declared her as brought dead.
