TURA: SSA Teachers from Ampati have alleged negligence by officials of the Ampati SBI Branch resulting in delay to credit their salary amounts to the SMC accounts.

“We are grateful to the government for releasing our pending salaries on March 29. However, due to the negligence by the staff and Branch Manager (BM) of the Ampati SBI Branch, our salaries are yet to be released till date,” a leader of the SSA teachers association, T Sangma alleged.

The teachers claimed that when they met the BM and requested him to look into the matter, the official did not listen to them and told them to get out of his office. Stating that this was not the first time that the staff had misbehaved with the teachers, they demanded the immediate release of their salaries and the transfer of the BM.

The teachers have also requested concerned authorities to look into the matter warning that the SSA Teachers’ Association would take up the matter seriously.
