PWDs sensitised on SVEEP

TURA: Focusing on this year’s election theme ‘Novoter to be left behind”, sensitizations on SVEEP Campaign were held for the Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) at Harinkata and Mendal on Friday.

Emphasizing on the need to cater to the exigency of the PWDs during elections and to enhance their participation, thereby making this elections accessible for everyone with PWDs in mind, they were apprised of free, fair election, ethical voting and the support and encouragement the PWDs would receive on the day of Poll.

During the campaign, PWDs were given training on the functioning of EVM and VVPAT as well as mock poll was conducted for a clearer perspective of the PWDs.
