New temple
Rilbong Sanatan Hindu Dharma Sabha will inaugurate a Ganesh Temple at its premises at Rilbong on April 10. A day-long religious rites will be performed by 11 priests. Yagna, various pujas , prasad distribution, Ganesh vandana, Kirtan by Iskon group will be the highlights Besides Ganesh, Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati idols will form part of the temple.
Celebrations
The Hamro Swabhiman (Trust) Shillong (A unit of Patanjali Yugpeeth) will celebrate Nepali New Year on April 14 at Babu Mani Singh Guring auditorium Gorkha Patshala Higher Secondary School, Garikhana. The programme will start from 11 am onwards.
The Shree Shree Jwala Mai Mandir committee are going to celebrate the Ramnavani Puja on April 13, Jwala Mai maiparbat mandir, Lumsohpetbneng, Umiam, Ri-Bhoi. The puja will start at 6 am onwards till 5 pm.
