NONGPOH: The leaders of Nongpoh Town Committee and the Dorbar of Umshangling village have issued a stern warning against dumping garbage along the road on the way to the Solid Waste Management (SWM) project site at Umshangling.
The project is scheduled to be inaugurated soon.
CB Syiem, the chairman of the town committee, said stringent action will be taken against those found dumping garbage.
The chairman added that a gate will be constructed before entering the SWM site to prevent unregulated dumping.
