SHILLONG: The state government has transferred several officers in the state police department.
A notification issued on Wednesday stated that Theory D Marboh, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Anti-infiltration), has been transferred as Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSB) while Orvile I Massar, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Security wing) has been transferred as Deputy Superintendent of Police (Traffic), Ri Bhoi.
Dangsan Khyriem, Deputy Superintendent of Police , (Traffic), Ri Bhoi has been transferred as Deputy Superintendent of Police ( Security wing).
S Sayeed Dkhar, Assistant Commandant, 4th MLP Battalion, Sohpian has been transferred as Deputy Superintendent of Police (Hqr), West Khasi Hills, Nongstoin.
The notification added that the transfers and postings of the officers have the approval of the Election Commission.
