Shillong Lajong Junior Reds beat NRL

SHILLONG: Shillong Lajong Junior Reds defeated NRL Football Academy by 2-1 on Thursday in the Hero Junior League, Shillong-Guwahati Zone.
The match was held at the MFA Ground in Polo, Shillong.
Benjamin Diengdoh scored a brace for Lajong in the 24th and 51st minute of the game.
Rohit Soibam pulled one back for NRL in the 56th minute.
With this win, Shillong Lajong Junior Boys are at the top of the table with 7 points from 3 games.
While the defeated, NRL is in the 3rd position with 4 points from 4 games.
Shillong Lajong Junior is all set to play their next match on April 22 against North East United in Shillong.
