TURA: Former secretary of many a deputy commissioner who held fort at the residential office of the West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner, Mr Joseph, passed away in Kerala on Friday evening.
His funeral will be held on Sunday in his home town of Kozhikode, Kerala. Joseph, who retired close to ten years ago was known in government circles for effectively running the residential office of the DC since the 1970s.
Over the years, the residential office of the deputy commissioner has played a vital role in administrative work with successive deputy commissioners.
