SHILLONG: The MDC of Mawlai who is also the Executive Member of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC), Teiborlang Pathaw, convened a meeting for farmers falling under Mawlai constituency at Umrynjah village on Saturday.
The Synjuk ki Nongrep Mawlai (SNM) was also formed during the meeting with an aim to improve agriculture and marketing of produce. Pathaw observed that farmers lack basic training which is essential for agriculture.
