BSF ADG in state for security review

SHILLONG: Sanjeev Kumar Singh, Additional Director General of BSF, Headquarters, SDG (Eastern Command), Kolkata is visiting Frontier HQ, Meghalaya and areas under its jurisdiction to review the security scenario and for area familiarisation from May 1 to 5. It is his second visit after taking charge.
Singh unveiled the foundation stone of SOs Mess, visited Mawpat BSF Camp, Sector Headquarters BSF Shillong and Umpling BSF camp on Wednesday. He interacted with officers and was briefed on operational situation of Meghalaya. He also interacted with the jawans.
The ADG visited Border Outpost Bholaganj and Patharghat in East Khasi Hills district on Friday to interact with the troops deployed there.
A plantation drive was also conducted at the international border.
The campaign all over India (BSF deployment) to turn their campuses greener for a better environment.
