Accident
A truck (number unknown) knocked down Hamarli Japang (56) at Mawmang, Mawryngkneng, East Khasi Hills, on May 3 around 7 pm. As a result, the victim sustained injuries and was shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital and was later referred to NEIGRIHMS.
On May 3 around 1:20 pm, a Maruti Alto K-10 car driven by Bestar Hashah (23) dashed against a tree at MES Pump House near Dhobighat. The driver sustained injuries and was taken to Shillong Civil Hospital.
A motorcycle (number unknown) ridden by Kalil Chisim (45) met with an accident at Latri in Ampati on Thursday. The motorcycle rider sustained injuries and was taken to CH Ampati, from where he was referred to CH Tura.

Assault
A woman lodged a complaint stating that her husband Anil Khanal mentally and physically tortured her and her children. On May 2, the accused assaulted them at their residence in Shillong College compound, Laitumkhrah.
Man dies in hospital
An man (30) was found lying at Iewduh on Thursday around 6 pm. He was shifted to Shillong Civil Hospitalwhere he later died on Saturday.

Theft
Ratul Kar lodged a complaint stating that on Friday, unknown miscreants broke into his house in Nongrim Road and stole a TV and a cell phone.

Trespass
Ramesh Nair of EAC, Upper Shillong, lodged a complaint stating that on May 3 around 11:30 am, an on-duty sentry apprehended P Decostta, while he was trespassing into the Air Force compound at EAC, Upper Shillong, by climbing a boundary wall.
