32 Assam pilgrims to be brought back by bus from Kolkata

GUWAHATI: Assam government as the instruction of Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal has taken steps to bring back 32 pilgrims and tourists staying in Assam House Kolkata, after arriving from Odisha.

These tourists/pilgrims  are brought to the state from Kolkata by bus on Tuesday following the direction of Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal.  The tourists have been brought by bus after they expressed willingness to travel together by bus instead of train.

The bus started off at 3 pm on Tuesday from Kolkata towards Assam and the passengers are accompanied by a Public Relations official of Assam House Kolkata and a police official. Drinking water and medicines have also been kept for the convenience and safety of the travellers .
