Accident
On Wednesday around 12:10pm, one Maruti car (ML-10B-4942) driven by Malcolm Rympei dashed against an electric pole at Umroi junction in Ri Bhoi. The driver and one occupant sustained injuries and were taken to CHC Bhoirymbong.
On Tuesday around 1:30pm, one motorcycle (ML-09A-1957) met with an accident at Bilkona village in South Garo Hills. Chaseng G Momin (17) died on the spot, while Bilkring Ch Sangma (14) sustained injuries and was taken to CHC Dalu.

Assault
Diana Jyrwa lodged a complaint stating that on May 7 around 10pm, Shepherd Thabah assaulted her and Subalin Langstieh at her residence in Langkyrding, Housing Complex, Nongmensong. On wednesday around 1 am, the accused hurled beer bottles at her house, damaging the windowpane.
Unesh Rabha lodged a complaint stating that on May 5 around 3:30 pm, Kaiban Marak shot at Sanjoy Rabha and Bikash Rabha, with a country-made gun, while the duo were cutting bamboo in a jungle at Reruder Hill in North Garo Hills. The duo managed to escape unharmed.

Extortion
Schoolartica G Momin of Chibagok, Resubelpara in North Garo Hills lodged a complaint stating that on April 18, unknown persons served a demand note for Rs 1,50,000 with instructions to pay the same at Balpakram National Park in South Garo Hills.

Fraud
Leonard Arun Mawrie, Rangbah Shnong, along with Helston Kharkongor, Augustine and Petra Mylliempdah, Rangbah Dong of Laitkor Nongdaneng, lodged a joint complaint stating that on Wednesday, Hira Mylliempdah had forged their signatures and used the Dorbar Shnong Letter Head, to cheat and mislead the people into purchasing land located at Mylliempdah, Laitkor Nongdaneng.
Lakshmi Thapa lodged a complaint stating that on May 2, unknown persons fraudulently withdrew Rs 1,23,500 from her SBI account in Guwahati, Assam.
Students miss exams
Authorities of Captain Williamson Government College lodged a complaint stating that some students of South Garo Hills could not appear for the NEHU exams on Tuesday due to sudden call of the non-cooperation movement (NCM) by ADE and FKJGP without consulting with the public.

Theft
Joppyana Marak lodged a complaint stating that during her absence between May 1 and 6, unknown miscreants broke into her quarter at Darugre Health Sub-Center Complex (EGH) and stole DTH Smart SIM, clothes and other household items.
On Tuesday evening, unknown miscreants stole one motorcycle (ML-05Q-7088) belonging to Subrajit Das, which was parked near the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Polo.
Ismail Hussain lodged a complaint stating that on May 4, four persons identified as Johirul Bepari, Mobarok Bepari, Ahinur Rahman and Aynal Hoque, allegedly broke into a house at Banglakata in West Garo Hills and stole one inverter, one TV set and other household items valued around Rs 2 lakh.
Tengbon Sangma lodged a complaint stating that on April 9, unknown miscreants stole twenty-four batteries from an Airtel mobile tower at Bong Park in South Garo Hills.
