NDRF to organize community awareness program in East Garo Hills

TURA: The District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) of East Garo Hills, in collaboration with the 1st Battalion of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Guwahati, is organizing community awareness program on basic life supports, first aid, search and rescue, evacuation, fire demonstration, etc. from the 13th to 18th of May.

According to the official communiqué issued in this regard, the awareness program will be organized in Williamnagar at Mt. Penuel Secondary School and Ferrando Memorial Secondary School for the teachers, students and staff and the main market place for the merchants, traders, hawkers, etc.

The program will also be organized in all the C&RD Block headquarters like Rongjeng, Samanda and Songsak.
