Church leaders seek improved road connectivity at Jakrem

SHILLONGA delegation of Church leaders comprising of Synod Committee and MLA Mawkyrwat, Renikton Lyngdoh Tongkhar apprised Meghalaya chief minister, Conrad Sangma on the road connectivity in Jakrem in view of the Church’s preparation for Synod gathering on 2020.

Speaking to reporters here on Wednesday, Tongkhar said, “We spoke to the CM about the road connectivity and water problem. We hope for the government’s support.”

He said there were certain portions of the road that required repair and expressed concern on the need to have parking space  as well as to have the internal roads of the village repaired.
