Ist NPPNECC conclave in Shillong on June 8

SHILLONG: The First Conference of the National People’s Party–North East Coordination Committee (NPPNECC) will be held in Shillong on June 8, 2019.

In this connection, the NPP national vice-president and the chairman of NPP North East Coordination Committee (NPPNECC), DD Lapang convened the meeting of the NECC members on the May 16 2019 at Shillong for the preparation of the said Conference.

Besides Lapang, Home Minister and Ex-Officio Member NPPNECC, James P. K. Sangma and W. R. Kharlukhi, co-chairman NPPNECC & state president NPP Meghalaya attended the meeting

The members have explored all the possible ways and means to make the Conference successful in which discussions were made to make the agenda of the conference which will include the urgent and vital burning issues prevailing in the present situation.

The intention is to strengthen the Party Organisation, Women’s Wing and Youth’s Wing will also be included.

The Chairman of the NPPNECC had apprised National President and Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Conrad K Sangma of the decision taken.
