All set for counting at Tura

SHILLONG: All preparations for counting of votes for the Tura parliamentary constituency, scheduled to be held on Thursday, are in place.
West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner Ram Singh informed that the training for the counting was done on Monday and a dry run will be held on Tuesday.
A model counting centre has also been set up in the constituency.
There are as many as 12 counting centres for the parliamentary election and one for the Selsella by-poll which was held simultaneously with the Lok Sabha election on April 11
Two platoons of security personnel will be deployed and there will be a three-tier security at the counting centres.
