Agatha Sangma wins in Tura constituency

TURA: The  NPP candidate in Tura LS constituency, Agatha Sangma has emerged winner is by securing over 3 lakh votes and is taking out a victory rally in Tura even though the Election Commission is yet to declare the results formally.

Agatha has defeated her closest rival from Congress, Dr Mukul Sangma  by over 60,000. Her victory serves a big blow to Congress in Meghalaya.
