Vincent Pala takes comfortable lead in Shillong LS seat

SHILLONG: Congress candidate from Shillong Lok Sabha constituency, Vincent Pala is apparently heading for his third consecutive win in the polls as he is leading by over 80,000 votes.

As per the latest trend of votes counting, Pala has secured 233133 votes while his nearest rival, UDP’s Jemino Mawthoh, common candidate of the MDA, has so far secured 155727 votes.
