Air Marshal visits city station

SHILLONG: Air Marshal RD Mathur AVSM VSM, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Air Command visited Air Force Station at Laitkor Peak on Friday. He was accompanied by Shipra Mathur, president Air Force Wives Welfare Association (Regional), Eastern Air Command. The Air Marshal was given a brief presentation which focused on the operational potential and war fighting capacity of the station. He also inspected all the units of the station and ongoing works services. During the interaction with the air warriors, the Air Officer emphasised on the need to be operationally focused and vigilant, especially in view of the ongoing security scenario.
