SHILLONG: As per the directions of the Committee which was constituted by the National Green Tribunal in its 12th meeting held in April this year, a centralised toll-free helpline number — 18003453846 — has been set up to receive information and complaints on illegal mining and transportation of coal in the state.
The Assistant Inspector General of Police (A) informed that the toll free number will be operated round the clock and it is equipped with features ensuring anonymity of the caller.
