Demand for free land registration

SHILLONG: The United Hynniewtrep Movement (UHM) has reiterated its demand for a spot free land registration for residents living in the border areas.
Speaking at a gathering to extend the UHM to Jirang circle, General Secretary of UHM, Charlie J Rani said that the organisation will discuss in depth on the pending issues of the border areas to ensure that development activities reach the border areas.
President of the Jirang circle is C. Sangkli and there are other office bearers.
