Theft
Unidentified miscreants broke into the house of Anuj Rai at Motinagar, Lumsohphoh, on June 7 around 11:10 am and stole gold ornaments and Rs. 3,500 in cash.
Uttam Hajong lodged a complaint that on the night of June 1, unidentified miscreants stole his motorcycle (ML-08C-8404), which was parked near his residence at Petra A’kong in West Garo Hills.

Body recovered
A body, identified as Sling Lyngdoh (60), was found lying at Laitnamlang village in West Khasi Hills on June 6 around 4 pm. Necessary formalities were observed and the cadaver was sent to CH Nongstoin for PM examination.
