Seminar on visual media cultures on June 10

Shillong: The  EFL University, Shillong Campus will organise a two-day national seminar on ‘Contesting the Site of Sights: The Discourse of Visual Media Cultures with reference to Northeast India’ on June 10 and 11 at the university campus.
The inaugural function will be held at 9:30 am with Kailash C Baral, vice- chairperson, MAKAIAS, Kolkata and former director of EFLU, Shillong campus and PVC, in attendance as the chief guest.
RK Satpathy, honorary director, ICSSR-NERC, Shillong will attend the programme as the guest of honour. The seminar will seek to explore and critically study the visual cultures of Northeast India.
