Duped
Iakmenlang L Nongrang lodged a complaint that two persons, viz., Shimtimon Lyngwa and Scanling Lyngwa had taken a loan of Rs 10 lakh from Meghalaya Rural Bank, Jaiaw, on December 2013, in which the complainant stood as a guarantor. However, till date the accused persons have not paid any installment, thereby dishonoring the complainant’s name with the bank.
Accident
On June 9 around 7.45 pm, a truck (NL 02Q 2265) driven by Dapoibiangme Nongtdu dashed against a Bolero (ML 01 7524) driven by Honsing Engleng at Pahamsyiem, Nongpoh (RB). As a result, both the drivers sustained injuries and were shifted to CH Nongpoh.
On June 8, around 6.50 pm, a truck (ML-05S-6495) dashed against an auto-rickshaw (ML 08E 1458) driven by Walkam Ch Momin at Dorambokgre village (SWGH). As a result, driver of the auto rickshaw sustained minor injuries and was shifted to the hospital.
On June 7 around 4 pm, a vehicle knocked down Prewilson D Sangma (47) at Ampati (SWGH) and fled away. As a result, the victim sustained injuries and was shifted to CH Ampati.
Stolen
Begin LS Paslein lodged a complaint that on June 7 circa 7 pm, miscreants stole his licensed .32 bore revolver, Passport, Driving Licence and five different bank passbooks from his official Bolero vehicle (ML 11 1522) which was parked at Sookilo (EJH).
Joleka Banai of Dama Chiring lodged a complaint that on June 4, miscreants broke into her shop and stole two cell-phones and Rs 5,500 in WGH.
Kivilin Kharmudai filed a complaint that on June 4 around 8 am, he detected that miscreants broke into his shop at Madanrting Block-F, Shillong and stole Rs 60,000 and cigarettes.
Theft
Madan Deka registered a complaint that on June 7, five unidentified occupants of a Maruti 800 waylaid his truck (AS 01GC 3930) at Tuber (EJH) and four of them forcibly entered the cabin of the truck and took away two cell-phones, Rs 6,000, and debit card from the complainant and his co-driver Biraj Boro.
Assault
Krispin Nongrum of Syniasya village (EKH) lodged a complaint that on June 4, one Phrak assaulted his minor son Wellring Rynjah.
