SHILLONG: The High Court of Meghalaya has adjourned the hearing on the dispute over KHNAM to July 11.
The court said in the order on Friday that till the final hearing on the matter, the earlier interim order on petitioner Pyndapborthiaw Saibon holding the post of the president of the party, will continue.
Saibon filed a petition after the Adelbert Nongrum faction of KHNAM constituted new office bears, which the former termed as illegal as it violated the constitution of the party.
During the hearing on Friday, the counsel for the petitioner sought for time to file rejoinder affidavit and it was granted.
