Manipur Edu minister assures of resolving crisis

Imphal: Manipur Education Minister Th Radheshyam said the political crisis which has been reported in the media is not a full-blown problem but a communication gap.
He assured, while speaking to the media at Tulihal airport after returning from New Delhi, that people will not suffer due to the overdraft the government is facing.
Speculations were made in the media and various social network platforms about BJP government led by N Biren Singh.
There were also reports of ministers rushing to New Delhi in the wake of the political crisis.
Radheshyam said a new government has been formed in the Centre and it is customary to meet the new ministers and appraise about various issues.
He said, as a fall out the talks with the new minister, an additional Rs 200 crore has been approved for education sector in Manipur.
Likewise, other ministers were meeting central ministers to seek approval of new projects, he said. There is no revolt but some communication gap which is in the process of resolving he added.
The overdraft of Rs 274 crore was the fall-out of the stoppage of fund flow due to imposition of model code of conduct and it will be resolved. (UNI)
