GH fighters shine in Taekwondo tourney

TURA: Fighters from Garo Hills have once again done the region proud by winning medals in the recently concluded 1st MSWS Taekwondo Championships 2019 held at Laban Indoor Sports Hall in Shillong on June 8 and 9.A delegation comprising of fighters from East Garo Hills Taekwondo Association and Don Bosco Taekwondo School participated in the two day event and managed to bag medals. 
The medal winners were Derimia Sangma (3 Gold in different poomsae divisions), Rapse Sangma (2 Gold), Jaksal Arimchi T Sangma, Crownbil B Marak (2 Gold in separate categories), Anilbath Sangma (1 Gold, 1 Silver in separate categories), Wandresha W Momin (1 Gold) and Sengku Marak (Gold in Kyorugi under 58 Kg Junior Boys), all from East Garo Hills Taekwondo Association and Patricia Sangma (2 Gold), Dilingsa R Marak (2 Gold in separate categories), Azalea A Sangma (1 Gold, 1 Silver) and Lastmania T Sangma (1 Gold, 1 Silver in separate categories) from Don Bosco Taekwondo School. The delegation from Garo Hills was led by Coach, Osmond T Sangma.
