Orientation prog held

SHILLONG: An orientation programme for the first batch of Women’s College Higher Secondary students both for Arts and Commerce was held on Tuesday at the College auditorium in Upper New Colony.
Patricia Mukhim, Editor, The Shillong Times was the chief guest.
Mukhim stressed on building leadership and reading skills to the young students and emphasised that dedication, hard work and perseverance are the cornerstones to great achievements.
She also asked the students to develop reading and writing skills.
The programme was also addressed by the Administrator of the Women’s College Higher Secondary Moushumi Dey and the Principal of Women’s College Ratnadeep Roy.
